Carolyn Glavine (GM Calgary and Edmonton)

Carolyn Glavine is an Environmental Health & Safety Professional, Master Trainer and holds a University Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety. She is a business entrepreneur with excellent communication, leadership, motivational and organizational skills. She has 30+ years of field experience in health, mining and oil sands industries. Her experience ranges from plant construction to plant maintenance operations & turnarounds, overseeing a multi-trade workforce. Prior to relocating to Calgary, Carolyn was the manager of CICT in Fort McMurray. Carolyn also formally worked as a nurse and has utilized her experience from that field. She has successfully developed and implemented several EH&S programs including Modified Work Programs, Stretching Programs, Supervisory and Behaviour Based Safety.

Wade Glavine (BD Manager and Chief Innovation Officer )

Wade Glavine is an accomplished tradesperson and construction manager with 38 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with last 15 years working in construction management organizations on mega projects in Alberta.  During his career Wade has trained and mentored many apprentices and supervised multiple tradespeople. Wade has been nominated for 2 Presidents Operational Excellence Awards in the field of Safety. He has worked in various disciplines for Contractors and Client companies such as Jacobs, Fluor, Syncrude, Exxon, Suncor, BA energy, and TransCanada Pipelines/Irving Oil. As a Senior Construction Manager, Wade has developed and presented project presentations of a wide range of topics to senior management within the companies he has work for and externally to the public in open houses on the TransCanada Energy East Pipeline project where he attended 30 events as the Construction representative for the project. Wade was the author of the construction portion in the application to National Energy Board for the Energy East Project.
